Jimmy V Reverse Raffle for Cancer Research

Wednesday, August 18th

This year, the Reverse Raffle will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center. Each ticket holder will enjoy heavy hors d’ouvres and a cash bar while anxiously waiting to find out who the lucky winner of the Leith BMW will be. Prizes will be awarded throughout the evening to random ticket holders as numbers are drawn. (Find out more about the Reverse Raffle)

Join us on a “Cruise to Key West” at the Raleigh Convention Center! Our party with a purpose will start off in South Beach with steel drums and Cuban cuisine, Mojitos and Latin rhythms. From there, ALL ABOARD our cruise ship to play casino games, enjoy mini shows, bid on silent auction items and hit the gourmet buffet! Mix and mingle with the who’s who of The Triangle and the celebrities playing in The Classic until we reach our final destination of Key West! The Landsharks band will “change our attitudes” while we sip margaritas and devour Key Lime pie. This party will be one you will not want to miss this year! Taking place in the grand ballroom of the Raleigh Convention Center, the 2010 V Gala will be an elegant, black tie affair celebrating a year of achievements in cancer research by The V Foundation. Guests will enjoy both silent and live auctions along with one very special message of hope presented by The V Foundation. Dinner will be designed by local chefs using North Carolina grown foods. We will be entertained by native North Carolinians all for this cause to raise funds that will stay here in North Carolina. This year’s live auction lots will once again prove themselves some of the most unique in the area! From trips abroad to one of a kind experiences, our live auction will certainly peak your interest! 17th Annual Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic

Saturday/Sunday, August 21-22nd

Join us for the 17th Annual Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic weekend as we host 26 fivesomes for two jam-packed days of golf! This year’s event will be played again at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Centennial Campus at NC State University. This course proved itself one worthy adversary as a classic Arnold Palmer design in 2009. We will return there this year ready to accept the challenge it offers for a cause that is unparalleled in its efforts to fund quality cancer research.
